This timeless Georgian style home is located
in the exclusive community of Fairway Hills in Oakville, beside
a private park. It is a one of a kind design built by Val
Bezic, president of Glen Orchard Homes, as his |
| personal residence. George Popper
of the award winning architectural firm "Gabor &
Popper" was the architect, working in conjunction with
architectural historian, Murray McCance. Mr. McCance supplied
the working drawings for such features as the entrance and
the massive Georgian fireplace that provides a focal point
as one enters the home. Mr. McCance's detail drawings required
custom mill work for the wood moldings and many of the architectural
details. The award winning master ensuite spa bathroom and
gym won a builder's award for the best bathroom in Ontario
and overlooks the eighth green of The Glen Abbey Golf Course.
During the construction of the home it was regularly featured
on the TV show "Dream Home". |
