Oakville is pleased to have Val
Bezic as a long standing resident of our Town.
Val is supportive in his personal life and in his
business pursuits, via Glen Orchard Homes, of
many, many community endeavours.
He participates in his immediate
neighbourhood via the Glen Abbey Residents'
Association Summerfest and the West Oak Trails
Summer Sizzle. His sponsorship of these events
and other town-wide community building agencies,
such as the United Way via the annual Mayor's
Invitational United Way Golf Tournament and
Mayor's Invitational Softball Challenge,
generates dollars that support agencies providing
human care services.
His philanthropy extends to the
arts also with sponsorship at the Oakville Centre
for the Performing Arts and Centennial and
Gairloch Art Galleries.
Val is sympathetic to and
supportive of the community's desire to preserve
our heritage and showcase the planning of our
Town. He has assisted with visiting planners,
showing his developments and speaking on new
urbanism at lunch. Support for the arts, human
care services, heritage, the needs of the less
fortunate and the environment are all things that
Val just sees as tenants of his commitment to the
Town within which he lives.
It is this type of this wide
based commitment mirrored by so many other
Oakville residents that sustains and enhances the
uniqueness of our community.
